<strong>Job Summary</strong><br>
The Dev/Research Engineer will be responsible for developing, conducting, analyzing, and managing engine structures and dynamics validation testing. This role supports the validation of engine components and systems through test planning, execution, data analysis, and communication of results. The engineer will evaluate complex structural failure modes, perform vibration and structural testing, and provide technical guidance to support new product, technology, and product-improvement programs. The position involves hands-on work with engine and bench testing, instrumentation, data acquisition systems, prototype hardware, and cross-functional engineering teams. <br>
<strong>Key Responsibilities</strong>
<ul>
&#9;<li>Develop, conduct, analyze, and manage engine structures and dynamics validation tests. 
&#9;<li>Plan and execute component and system testing, including vibration, stress/strain, modal, on-engine, and bench testing. 
&#9;<li>Utilize data acquisition systems including <strong>eDAQ, LMS, and cDAQ</strong>, and analyze vibration and structural test data using tools such as <strong>ME-SCOPE and LMS</strong>. 
&#9;<li>Evaluate complex structural failure modes and provide technical recommendations to support product development and field-issue resolution. 
&#9;<li>Coordinate the design and procurement of prototype hardware and set up instrumentation and gaging for testing. 
&#9;<li>Manage project planning, generate technical reports, and clearly communicate test conclusions and results. 
&#9;<li>Collaborate closely with design, simulation, testing, and other cross-functional engineering teams. 
</ul>
<strong>Required Qualifications</strong>

<ul>
&#9;<li><strong>BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering.</strong> 
&#9;<li><strong>2+ years of testing experience; internships may count toward experience.</strong> 
&#9;<li>Basic understanding of <strong>internal combustion engines and machinery</strong>. 
&#9;<li>Strong project management skills, initiative, and attention to detail. 
&#9;<li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.

Job Summary<br>

<strong>Required Qualifications</strong>

This is a leadership-track role within the Process/Applications Engineering team based in Burlington, Ontario. The Process/Applications Engineer will support the planning, design, and execution of projects involving water and wastewater treatment systems and chemical dosing solutions. After an onboarding period, the individual will step into a lead role within the department, taking responsibility for review, delegation, validation, and oversight of process design work across the team.<br>

<br>This is a highly technical hybrid role that combines <strong>application engineering</strong> with <strong>process system design</strong>. You will be responsible not only for preparing proposals, pricing solutions, and supporting sales effortsâbut also for <strong>designing complete water treatment systems</strong>, developing engineering documentation, and supporting internal and external stakeholders throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle. Your work will directly influence system performance, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.<br>

<strong>Pre-Sales Support & Quoting</strong>

            <description><![CDATA[Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Robotics Specialist in multiple locations throughout North America. This is a long term contract that can last multiple years. The work will be done onsite at automotive manufacturing plants. Compensation is up to $42/hr + all travel expenses fully covered.&nbsp;<br>

<strong><u>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</u></strong>
<ul>
&#9;<li><strong>Minimum</strong>&nbsp;Five(5) years of hands-on experience programming robots. (<strong>Fanuc Robots, GM wizard, GRS cert and 2yrs of GM project exposure is essential</strong>)
&#9;<li>Knowledge and experience using Fanuc DCS software
&#9;<li>Previous Fanuc Roboguide experience an asset
&#9;<li>Degree, Diploma or Certificate from a Mechatronics; Automation and Robotics Technician; Robotics and Industrial Automation or similar applicable course.
&#9;<li>Experience in robotic servo resistance welding and material handling is required, Sealer systems would be beneficial,&nbsp;(Robotic guided vision would be a&nbsp;<strong>big</strong>&nbsp;asset Keyence 3D bin picking and/or Photoneo 3D bin pick)&nbsp;****3D bin pick experience would really help them stand out to us in considering possible selection.&nbsp;
&#9;<li>Excellent understanding of robotic coordinate systems.
&#9;<li>Working knowledge of communication protocols (Enet IP)
&#9;<li>Good understanding of GM robot program flow and programming theories
&#9;<li>Understanding robot safety setup, familiar with ANSI 10218-2 robotic safety standards
&#9;<li>Computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and AutoCAD
&#9;<li>Good mathematical and organizational skills
&#9;<li>Practical experience and understanding of electrical circuitry and wiring
&#9;<li>Good verbal and written communication skills (English)
&#9;<li>Ability to work as a team member and individually
</ul>
<strong><u>DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></strong><br>
&nbsp;

&#9;<li>Work closely with Robotic supervisor/s and department leads
&#9;<li>Follow GM structure for robot programs and overall architecture
&#9;<li>Maintain and support departments
&#9;<li>Program robot paths, set up program structure and implement offline programming
&#9;<li>Configure robot IO, weld interface and program call
&#9;<li>Anticipate and solve robotic problems (troubleshoot)
&#9;<li>Read and interpret electrical/Pneumatic schematics and specifications
&#9;<li>Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner and know how to properly lock out all energy sources, including stored energy (<strong>GM MPS</strong>)&nbsp;This could be acquired at a later date but is preferred as training dates for this are very random.
&#9;<li>Work with other programmers to enhance each others skill level(s)
&#9;<li>Perform other reasonable duties as required
