Job Description
Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Quality/Test Engineer 3. The work will be done onsite in Mossville, Illinois. This is a long-term position that can lead to permanent employment with our client. Compensation is up to $45.30/hour + full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay).
Job Summary
Cullerton Group is seeking an experienced Quality/Test Engineer to support product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction initiatives for advanced equipment electronics, software, and integrated systems. This role focuses on investigating product performance issues, analyzing quality trends, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve product reliability and field performance. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience working with electronic and hydraulic systems, and the ability to communicate technical findings to cross-functional teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement quality standards, testing procedures, and data collection processes to evaluate product reliability and performance.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive corrective actions to improve product and system performance.
• Support dealers and internal stakeholders by investigating product inquiries, quality concerns, and technical issues.
• Evaluate production, testing, measurement, and analytical equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot electrical, software, communication, and hydraulic system issues while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field; equivalent technician experience may be considered.
• 5–7 years of experience in quality engineering, testing, product support, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting, software troubleshooting, and quality improvement processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and technical diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of J1939 CAN communication, Ethernet communication, hydraulic systems, and electronic sensors such as Hall Effect, pressure, and angle sensors.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with technical writing, data analysis, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience developing scripts, macros, or automation tools.
• Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience supporting heavy equipment, industrial machinery, or complex electromechanical systems.
