Notice of Filing Application for Labor Certification
Position: Mechanical Engineer
Duties Include: The Mechanical Engineer will research and investigate the design, functionality and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes. Additional job responsibilities include: (i) research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices; (ii) research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects; (iii) investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendation to maintenance crew; and (iv) assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment or software. Responsible for consulting on manufacturing process to assure Six Sigma lean manufacturing compliance.
Requires: Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or foreign equivalent. Requires six months of prior work experience as a mechanical engineer, manufacturing engineer or related field, and such experience must include: utilization of PTC Creo software and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. Must be willing to relocate to unanticipated client site across the U.S. Current placement is in Chillicothe, IL.
