Job Description
Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for an Electrical Engineer 3. The work will be done onsite in Mossville, IL. This is a 12-month position that can lead to permanent employment with our client. Compensation is up to $52.00/hour + full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay).

This role focuses on new product introduction, production support, component validation, and certification activities while collaborating with global engineering teams. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electronic component design, testing, and failure analysis, along with excellent project management and communication skills.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the development, validation, and lifecycle management of electronic components used in advanced engineering applications. This role focuses on new product introduction, production support, component validation, and certification activities while collaborating with global engineering teams. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electronic component design, testing, and failure analysis, along with excellent project management and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, validate, and support electronic components throughout new product introduction and production lifecycle activities.
- Develop and execute validation plans, including configuring devices with software and firmware and performing hands-on testing in a laboratory environment.
- Investigate component failures, conduct root cause analysis, and support corrective actions to improve product reliability.
- Manage electronic component certification activities and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure project success.
- Work closely with global engineering teams to provide technical support, coordinate project activities, and maintain engineering documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience in electrical or electronic engineering.
- Experience with electronic component design, validation, and failure analysis.
- Strong project management skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience with firmware development or firmware validation for electronic components.
- Knowledge of quality and reliability engineering practices.
- Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) and electronic component lifecycle management.
- Hands-on laboratory testing experience with electronic devices and systems.
