Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Key Accounts Sales/Solution Engineer with a background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Thermal Engineering to join our Virginia-based team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in supporting and growing our robust customer base in the Defense, Aerospace, and Space industries. This role involves technical sales and account management, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with customers to identify their needs and provide tailored solutions, focusing on electrical insulation products and materials such as ceramics, laminates, plastics, and other advanced materials.
- Manage and support projects involving batteries and thermal applications, leveraging technical expertise to address complex challenges.
- Drive business growth through proactive account management, identifying new opportunities within existing accounts and expanding the customer base.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO, AS, and TS, delivering high-quality solutions aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Partner with internal teams to coordinate technical support, product development, and timely delivery of customer orders.
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for customers to showcase product capabilities and benefits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Thermal Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical sales, account management, or engineering roles, preferably in the Defense, Aerospace, or Space industries.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO, AS, and TS, with experience in quality and compliance processes.
- Knowledge of battery and thermal projects, including design and application.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to provide innovative solutions to customer needs.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in selling or working with electrical insulation products or similar materials.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Technical presentation and training experience.
