Job Title: Sage Intacct Consultant (Project-Based Contract, Remote/Chicago)

Location: Remote with occasional travel to client site in Chicago

Job Type: Project-Based Contract

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Sage Intacct Consultant to join our team on a project-based contract. The consultant will work primarily remotely, with occasional on-site visits to our client in Chicago. The role involves providing both functional and technical expertise to optimize, implement, and support Sage Intacct for the client’s financial management needs. This position requires a strategic problem solver who can assess current configurations, enhance system functionality, and guide users to fully leverage Sage Intacct for streamlined financial operations. Compensation is $70/hr W2.

Responsibilities:

  • Functional Support and Optimization: Analyze and optimize existing Sage Intacct setups to ensure effective use of the system. Provide functional expertise in financial modules, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reporting.

  • Implementation Support: Lead and support the client in the implementation of Sage Intacct modules as needed, including configuration, testing, and deployment to align with their business processes and financial reporting needs.

  • Technical Assistance: Troubleshoot technical issues related to Sage Intacct, manage system integrations, and offer guidance on best practices for data integrity, workflow improvements, and system scalability.

  • Client Training: Deliver end-user training and ongoing support to finance and accounting teams to ensure efficient use of Sage Intacct features, creating user documentation and process workflows as necessary.

  • Customizations and Integrations: Identify opportunities for customizations within Sage Intacct and configure third-party integrations to meet client-specific financial and operational requirements.

  • Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with the client’s finance and IT teams to gather requirements, outline project objectives, and manage timelines to ensure successful project completion.

  • Periodic On-Site Visits: Travel to the client’s Chicago office as needed to provide hands-on support, conduct in-person training, and facilitate workshops.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Sage Intacct Consultant with a strong background in finance and accounting
  • Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct implementation, optimization, and support
  • Functional expertise in Sage Intacct modules, including financials and reporting
  • Technical skills in system configuration, troubleshooting, and integration
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with remote teams
  • Willingness to travel to Chicago occasionally for client visits

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Sage Intacct or other relevant financial management systems
  • Familiarity with third-party integration tools and customization options within Sage Intacct
  • Experience working in a consulting capacity with a focus on ERP or financial systems
