Job Description
Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for an IT Software Engineer 5 in either Chicago, IL or Peoria, IL. The work will be done 100% remotely with minimal travel. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $105/hr including benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay. Cullerton Group will provide sponsorship.

Typical task breakdown:
- Attend daily standups and other Scrum ceremonies
- Lead daily tech team meetings to answer team questions, help resolve blockers, and troubleshoot issues
- Perform code reviews
- Coordinate with architects to understand high-level architectural design
- Develop solutions based on architectural designs
- Assist Business Analysts with technical questions for User Story development
- Review and approve pull requests
- Work with Scrum Master to assign User Stories
Interaction with team:
- Throughout the day via Teams meetings
- Team consists of 5 developers, 2 QA analysts, the resource would be leading. They would also be working with product owner, architect and 2 BA’s.
Work environment:
- Virtual
- Onshore/offshore model
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is a requirement.
- Knowledge and experience with Salesforce architecture, Salesforce security configuration, sharing rules and user management.
- 7+ years’ experience analyzing business problems and translating business requirements into technology solutions.
Technical Skills
(Required)
- 5+ years of experience enhancing the Salesforce platform using configuration and code involving Apex, Lightning UI with Aura, LWC, Visual force, JavaScript, XML, JSON, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience designing integration frameworks between Salesforce and external systems and portals using standard connectors or REST/SOAP APIs.
- Experience with Salesforce Community portals.
- Declarative customization including the creation of Flow, Process Builder, Approval Processes, Validation Rules, Workflow rules, Reports and Dashboards.
- Thorough understanding of Salesforce Deployment Process and tools.
- Salesforce Admin, Platform Developer I and II, and/or other Salesforce certifications
