Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for an Engineering Aide 2 in Peoria, IL. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $25/hr including benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay.
Our customer is the largest manufacturer of construction equipment in the world.
Position’s Contributions to Work Group: - Development and review of technical publications and manuals for Defense products - Bill-of-material and technical data review for submission to government organizations and systems - Provide daily support to Manager of Information & Technology Services
- Oversee creation, development, and maintenance of military program technical manuals - Print redaction - Media translation requests - Product manual compilation - Media storage, documentation, and transmission
Provide part information to military customers Interaction with team: - Daily interaction with Manager of Information & Technology Services, Engineering, Sales teams, Product Groups, Customers, Service Information team, etc. Work environment: - Office environment
Education/Experience: • Associate’s degree in engineering technology or related field required. • 2-4 years experience required. Technical Skills (Required) - • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. - • Strong knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. - • Strong knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods. - • Strong knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects. - • Strong knowledge of computer software, such as Office365, Adobe/Nitro, etc. (Desired) - Caterpillar publications development experience - Engineering/Product Support systems experience (Teamcenter, EDS, SIS, etc.) Soft Skills (Required) • Strong mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. - • Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
